Behind the scenes with our Rocks

Every piece in our fine jewelry line is made by hand in our atelier, nothing is mass produced. All of our ISA NOY pieces and designs are made to order just for you. The gold and fine silver Rocks are each one of a kind, every piece has a slight difference from one another, which we truly admire in our collections.

We have created and found one-of-a-kind tools allowing our team to craft each piece from conception. We start by melting and molding our custom gold and fine silver material into the desired shape. By using found river and beach rocks as our inspiration, we learn their unique traits and mimic them in our work. These meticulously created characteristics make you see and feel the presence of a real life rock in your piece.

Our ISA NOY jewelry line lives in the world of slow and sustainable fashion, allowing us to work in a precise and curated manner. This practice ensures every piece of jewelry has been carefully created from start to finish, with the highest quality materials, sophisticated details and meaningful stories behind them. Taking care of each unique piece from start to finish is what we do best, our atelier would never release a piece if we were not one hundred percent satisfied.

We strive for creating tools, learning antique and contemporary techniques that help us curate our materials in order to create the best pieces that fit our brand.

The transparency of our handmade work is of key value to our team. We enjoy the process of making a piece of jewelry and stamping them one by one with our brand’s monogram. This stamping work is all done in our Atelier’s wood stump.

Each piece in our line is crafted with extreme care, supreme level of detail and passion. Like the palm of our hands, each Rock is unique. We like to leave subtle lines in the back of each Rock to suggest these pure emotions. It means the world to our team to be able to work with our hands everyday. Our collections are a symbol of this passion and admiration for the handmade. It’s extremely special to create pieces that cater to our brand’s and clients style. The made to order process has allowed us to create special bonds with our customers, creating pieces that are made just for them and nothing can beat this.

Using our file collection to create those unique forms and textures found in our pieces. Pieces are born and finished in our Atelier’s work bench.

Rocks are shaped, sanded and polished to fit each particular design in the collection. Each Rock has its own language, its own life lines, that are left on the back of each rock as a sign of respect for the handmade work.

We encourage our clients to mold our designs to their lifestyle, if it pleases them. Any special Instructions for the Atelier are always welcomed, I wish for my Rock to be smooth throughout, I love for it to be rounder, elongated, rougher, all matte, high in polish, etc. We want our IN Babes to live in their jewelry, so we want the pieces to fit their aesthetics. Special request should be made via our online shop at checkout, were you can write a message for our team.

We polish every piece with our desired house finish, a matte coat with a true distinctive glossy edge. It enhances the works edges by creating a reflective line that complements the pieces edges.

With each wear the pieces will transform and grow in character, adding to that life patina that only time can give to your one-of-a-kind beauties.

For our Atelier the creation of the piece is as equal in importance to the packaging of the work itself. All of your orders come in our signature baby blue packages and our hand written note welcoming you to the IN world.

The Rocks are meant to Ground and Recharge us! They are our charms or amulets of good luck, they are there to remind us of those life treasures that yet with no monetary value, we come to love and cherish. They are also a reminder to take some personal time for ourselves, some “me time”. By wearing them, the Rocks provide us with inner strength and balance, through our mind and body.
