From time to time it is more than okay to have your pieces professionally cleaned but in the mean time here is a quick and easy way to maintain and care for your jewelry at home.
Gently clean your jewelry with warm soapy water, a clear liquid dish detergent works best along with a baby like toothbrush. Special care should be given to emeralds, opals and pearls, due to their delicate and softer nature. After every wear, it is best to use a soft and dry cloth to remove any unwanted dirt or body oils from the pieces. When washing your hands we recommend removing your rings, to insure no residue will form and cause any dullness in its shine.
It is very important to dry your pieces well before storing them, specially in humid environments. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals that may cause discoloration in your pieces. Never expose your jewelry to chlorine (swimming pools, hot tubs, etc.) because your pieces will immediately discolor and loose their shine.
When traveling and at home we recommend using our ISA NOY custom pouches to separate your pieces on either pockets, to avoid any unwanted damages. It is always best to attach all chains before storing them. Always keep an eye out for your pieces and take care of them, so they last a lifetime!
