OUR GOODBYES TO SUMMER
If you are feeling anything like us, then welcome to our world! Summer officially ended on September 21st & our atelier couldn't be feeling more IN denial about this fact! Our team felt compelled to squeeze IN a last minute goodbye to properly say CIAO — FOR NOW, to what has been a challenging but yet real eye-opening summer. We bring you along as we let go of our current everyday thoughts and loose ourselves in planning our last farewell Summer 17 mood board, that will transition us into fall!
1| As you all know, here at the atelier we are pretty much obsessed with long & flowy silk caftans for any given occasion... this one in particular says it all! A bold tropical print accompanied by one of our soon to be favorite fall colors. The perfect piece to pay tribute and complement with the Caribbean's rich natural tones. Button this baby up and it becomes the perfect cover up or leave it open and drape it over your shoulders, for those breezy-cool nights ahead.
2| When in doubt, always go with your most flattering jeans & tee combo! One that you can easily explore IN during the day & dress up for a relaxing low key night "caftan over jeans look". Pair your simple au revoir summer stress free look, with some easy to slip on and off flats... in a brown/caramel hue to match the star caftan piece.
3| When it comes to active luxury we always think practical... two piece black sets will always do the trick! Itsy bitsy black bikini and a pure soft bra & pantie combo, will add to the pure magical last day of cool summer swimming and night bliss. Your white tee will never look more interesting than with a black shadow peeking IN.
4| Choosing our last summer look could be extremely challenging but when choosing an IT Bag to compliment it, well... that can be even harder. Lucky you, we have the best advise! Choose the bag with the most character... the one with the loudest personality. For us it's a big bag with lots of space to soon fit our fall knits and don't mind us with these perfect wooden handles. A bag that can hold it all but also has the perfect place for our perfect nude lip balm.
5| It's always our rule to leave the best for last... choosing the jewelry pieces that will carry you IN to the best comfortable you. Pieces that are simple to wear during the day but are also bold enough to make the greatest of statements during the night.
