MEET OUR CAMPAIGN IN BABE
1. What is your name?
My name is Mia Blakeman.
2. Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico.
3. Can you describe living in the Caribbean?
There is no place I would rather live. Growing up on an island allowed me to spend my weekends at the beach and wander around the nature that surrounds me. I feel so blessed that my parents chose to raise me in Puerto Rico.
4. What is the perfect day like?
A perfect day would have to start with an AM boxing or pilates class. After that, I love to get home and enjoy a good cup of coffee. I live in front of the beach, so I could literally spend an hour sipping on my coffee while the sea breeze blows my hair. If I have the day off, I like to slow down and spend time with my pup and boyfriend. We usually go to the beach altogether. While my boyfriend surfs, I read or play with Frida, the pup. I love going to the movies, so I would have to say that the best way to end the day is with some cozy sweats and a big popcorn bag at the cinema.
5. Have you been modeling for long?
I have been modeling for nine years. Yikes, haha, that’s a lot. I officially started when I was 14, but I have been doing commercials since I was four years old. I love creating, so modeling for me is a good way to channel my creativity. There is something so soothing about connecting with a photographer while shooting, time stops. Afterward, the satisfaction of seeing the final result is so gratifying.
6. Would you reveal something interesting about yourself?
Even though I don’t work in the field right now, I’m actually an accountant. At the moment I am studying for the CPA exams. Wish me luck!
7. What is your favorite piece in the collection and why?
My favorite piece from the collection is the Gold Anklet Bangle. It is so simple and delicate that you could wear it every day... it’s the perfect piece to adorn your ankle for any occasion.
8. Can you tell us your interpretation of the ISA NOY Rocks?
This collection is so beautiful. The way you can layer the necklaces, rings, and bracelets feel natural, as rocks that are found in nature pilled together or scattered around. You can make your own combination inspired by your surroundings and your lifestyle.
9. How do you think you represent being the face of the brand?
ISA NOY is a brand that celebrates the confident woman who isn’t afraid to be herself, allowing her to create the perfect combination of pieces to wear. I find myself to be a strong woman, who at the same time is elegant and classy. Just like the brand, I'm able to inspire others to be themselves.
10. In your opinion what does it take to be an IN Babe?
An IN Babe is anyone who enjoys life without regrets, someone who loves nature and takes time to enjoy the little things life has to offer. Anyone can be an IN Babe as long as you allow yourself to be yourself.
